Medical Equipments and Supplies Giving to RHU Samal (September 11, 2021)
As of today, Samal, Bataan has 906 confirmed cases, 156 active cases, 701 are recovered and 49 deaths. During these days the Rural Health Unit of Samal is encountering difficulties of monitoring the active cases they have due to not enough medical equipment and supplies.
Today, September 11, 2021, Charoen Pokphand Foods Philippines Corporation Management Mr. Udomsak Aksornphakdee – President, Mr. Wichet Kaewpa – Vice President of Shrimp Business and Mr. Jumnan Sudtrong – Assistant Vice President of Fish Business together with H.E Vasin Ruangprateepsaeng Thai Ambassador to The Republic of the Philippines donated office supplies, medical equipment and supplies to Rural Health Unit of Samal, Bataan for additional tools that they can be use. The items were turned over to Hon. Aida D. Macalinao – Municipality Mayor of Samal, Bataan and Cristina S. Espino, MD – Municipality Health Officer.

Donation of Tilapia Fish at Municipality of Samal (April 28, 2021)
In the past week, “Community Pantry – give what you can afford, take what you need,” was becoming famous all over the Philippines the aim of this project is to offering free food to needy people and soliciting donations from anyone willing to give them, as many families in the country go hungry during the extended COVID-19 lockdown.
Municipality of Samal launched a version of their “Community Pantry” called “Bayanihan on Wheels” instead of the people will come and get the foods in the designated area the Bayanihan on Wheels team will bring the foods directly to the people and also the aim of this project is to help the communities to have foods during this pandemic.

After the successful Half Marathon last December 15, 2019, Today, January 10, 2020, Charoen Pokphand Foods Philippines Corporation turn over Medical Equipment worth 915,999 pesos to Samal Rural Health Unit as proceeds of the event.
Hon. Aida D. Macalinao – Mayor of Municipality of Samal, Bataan and the Samal Rural Health Unit headed by Cristina S. Espino, MD expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the President of CPFPC Mr. Udomsak Aksornphakdee, the runners and organizers of the event. Run for Life. To address the lack of necessary facilities of Samal Lying-In Center, CPF organizes a fun run for a cause. All proceeds will fund the procurement of medical equipment for the birthing clinic of Samal to improve their life care programs.
6th Mangrove Planting Project (November 16, 2019)
Breaking the common notion that the advancement of aquaculture and protecting the environment do not co-exist, CPF Philippines continues its green advocacy on mangrove reforestation program. In its 6th time of initiating the bi-annual activity, CPF has planted and nursed almost 10,000 seedlings in collaboration with with various government, non-government, and people’s organization in Samal Bataan. Attached to its corporate values and principles, it is with the company’s firm belief that caring for nature is ensuring the sustainability of business and the health of stakeholders.
Fish Culture Project Philippines (October 8, 2019 )
October 8, 2019 Charoen Pokphand Foods Philippines Corporation held the turn over and ribbon cutting ceremony of the FISH CULTURE PROJECT together with our president, Mr. Udomsak Aksornphakdee, Honorable Aida D. Macalinao – Municipality Mayor of Samal, Bataan, Dr. Jeolfa G. Reyes, Ed.D – District Supervisor of Samal, Bataan, Mrs. Teresita R. Ordiales – District Supervisor of Pilar, Bataan, Mr. Rodelio A. Paguio – Municipal Councilor of Pilar, Bataan, Mr. Jenie L. Umiray – Barangay Captain of Nagwaling, Pilar, Bataan and the General Parents Teacher Association of each schools. This program aims to support School Based Feeding Program (SBFD) of the Department of Education by giving schools the knowledge on how to raise and harvest catfish which they can cook for 140 underweight students in Asuncion Consunji Elementary School, Gugo Elementary School and Nagwaling Elementray School to improve the students nutritional status and address the problem of malnutrition among public school children.

Philippines Secretary of the Department of Agriculture visits CPF shrimp farm in Davao.
Mr.Emmanuel “Manny” Piñol,Secretary of the Philippines Department of Agriculture and Mr.Vasin Ruangprateepsaeng, Ambassador of Thailand to the Philippines led officials of Bureau of fisheries and aquatic resources, bank officers and businessmen in Davao to visit the best small shrimp pond developed by CPF to applied with a nursery shrimp system before releasing into the pond. This model is equipped with biosecurity system and environmental friendly. CPF Philippines has promoted this model along with adopting CPF Turbo shrimp to Philippines farmers nationwide. School Supplies Gift Giving (2017 - Present)
As part of the Corporate Social Responsibility, Charoen Pokphand Foods Philippines Corporation has its third school supplies giving, with the theme “Learning Today, Leading Tomorrow” last June 10, 2019.
The event was headed by Mr. Soontorn Tuntanatewin Vice Chairman and Mr. Udomsak Aksronphakdee President of Charoen Pokphand Foods Philippines Corporation, Aquaculture Business. This project envisions to encourage children to pursue their education and their aspirations, by helping the families to provide school supply to their children who will be attending school.
This event was able to aid 330 first grade students from five different schools as following; Adamson Elementary School, Imelda Elementary School, Asuncion Consunji Elementary School, Gugo Elementary School and Nagwaling Elementary School.

Last April 27, 2019 with the celebration of the 378th Founding Anniversary of Municipality of Samal, Province of Bataan, Mr. Udomsak Aksornphakdee, President of Charoen Pokphand Foods Philippines Corporation, Aquaculture Business, receiving Honorary Citizen and Adopted Son of Samal, Bataan for being instrumental in the promotion and development of cassava farming and processing in Samal. He created a strong link between CPF, local government, and farmers that results in opportunity for farmers engaging in cassava plantation.
The awarding was headed by the Local Government of Samal headed by Mayor Generosa Dela Fuente and Vice Mayor Aida Macalinao. The award was given to Mr. Aksornphakdee to express appreciation and gratitude for his effort and contribution to the progress and development of the town.
Relief Giving to the Fire Victims of Barangay Capunitan, Orion, Bataan
The town of Orion in Bataan has been declared under a state of calamity after a huge fire razed half of a village Tuesday, killing one and affecting more than a thousand families.
CPF Philippines has donated 1020 food relief packages, clothing with the supporting of Royal Thai Defence & Air force Attache to Cong. Joet Garcia, Mayor of Orion Municipality in supporting those fire victims.

CPF joins forces with the Philippines’ government to improve farmer’s income
Mr. Emmanuel Piñol, Secretary of the Philippine Department of Agriculture, recently welcomed Mr.Sakol Cheewakoset, Vice Chairman, Agro – Industrial Business Group (Livestock) CPF Philippines Corporation, and Mr. Udomsak Aksornpakdee, President, Agro- Industrial Business Group (Aquaculture), Philippines Area. The CPF executives have updated the Agriculture secretary on the company’s operation in the Philippines as well as discussing the cooperation between the company and the Philippines’ government to purchase raw material crops to expand the capacity of animal feeds production.
